November 2008
MRG to accept delivery of a Newbury Molding machine to add in-house overmold capabilities. In addition to adding overmold cable assemblies, we have the capacity to offer smart cables with overmolded PC boards.
MRG expanded our Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) area by adding 500 square feet of ESD flooring. This will allow us to expand our capabilities in handling PC boards for Electromechanical Assembly and smart cables that have PC board content.
October 2008
MRG recently won a 5-year Military contract which will further expand our Military portfolio and capabilities.
January 2007
We contracted with Agile Internet Marketing in 2006 since we felt our old website did not adequately offer our customers a full representation of our products and services. We released this website in January 2007.
December 2006
MRG decided that updated automation equipment was necessary to meet our existing customer requirements. We have evaluated several products and have decided to purchase a Schaefer Megomat Uno. This will allow us to increase our automation on small Awg wires since our previous equipment did not allow us this flexibility. The Uno will also give us the option for upgrades to meet our future demands. We will have the new equipment on our dock the last week of December 2006.
November 2006
In an effort to reduce costs for our customers and expand our manufacturing capabilities globally, we have formalized an agreement with our affiliate in China. After a 3 year track record of providing good service, quality and delivery, we felt it was time.
February 2006
MRG applied for a grant with the state of Massachusetts and received the award in February of 2006. The grant money will be used for a variety of quality trainings to meet our continuous quality improvement commitment.
2005
MRG Purchased an additional 10,000 Sq Ft. adjacent facility for future electro-mechanical assembly capacity and parking.
